Mission
One of our aims at St Nicholas Church is to be wholeheartedly involved in carrying out the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
As well as proclaiming the gospel in and around our own church environment, we seek ways of furthering Christ’s mission through various mission initiatives worldwide, in the UK and in the Sevenoaks community. We also enjoy strong links with a number of mission partners.

Tearfund
We run an annual quiz to raise money and support for Tearfund. This is always a great evening and we’re grateful to all the volunteers who make it happen! Check out this interview that was shown at our 2023 Tearfund Quiz. Over 100 people attended from across all congregations and raised over £1,600 for Tearfund.
