At St Nicholas we have a full programme for children and young people of all ages, including events midweek as well as on Sundays.
Years 7-9 (and Year 10- until Christmas)
Centrepoint is the St Nicholas youth group, open to all teenagers from years 7-9 (and Year 10 until Christmas) whether Christian or not. Centrepoint provides a chance to find out about what God has to say about the big questions of life.
We meet during all the main Sunday services, (apart from during family services), which are:
- 9:15am and 11am in the main church building
- 10am at Grace Church in Lady Boswell’s school
- 4:00pm at 4 O’Clock Church in Lady Boswell’s school
Most Fridays during term-time the Centrepoint groups from all the various congregations meet altogether in the Undercroft from 7.30-9pm. The evening is all focussed on knowing Christ better, and building strong Christian friendships. There are occasional socials on Fridays throughout the term too.
In parallel with this, year 10 meet in for their own home group on Friday nights.
For this term’s meetings, have a look at the Term Card.
“Each summer Centrepoint goes away for a ”Houseparty“ weekend. Next year’s trip runs from July 12th-14th and is open to all in years 7-9. The weekend is lots of fun with a range of activities, a chance to make new friends and opportunities to find out more about the Christian faith. Please save the dates. A link to the brochure will appear here in the coming weeks”
To find out more about our regular meetings or the Houseparty, please contact Simon Heather, or just turn up at one of our meetings.
